Credit Diploma Transcript or NEDP Request

A transcript request and fee payment ($5) for Credit Diploma and NEDP students who have graduated from Bristol Adult Eduation Center may be completed online, if the payment is made with a credit card. Official GED Test Registration Fee

All GED registrants 21 and over must pay a $13 registration fee when registering for the official GED test.
Spanish Survival: Everyday Spanish for Beginners

Come join us for our new 8 week Beginners Spanish Speaking Class!!
Gain the confidence to communicate in Spanish in everyday situations! This beginner-friendly course is designed for adults with little or no prior Spanish experience. Learn essential greetings, everyday vocabulary, numbers, simple questions, and practical phrases you can use immediately at work, while traveling, shopping, dining, or interacting with Spanish-speaking friends, neighbors, and community members.
Through fun, interactive activities, role-playing, and real-life conversations, you'll build your speaking and listening skills in a supportive, relaxed environment. By the end of the course, you'll feel more comfortable introducing yourself, asking for directions, ordering food, making appointments, and handling common daily interactions in Spanish.
No previous Spanish experience is required. Just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

Join Daria Ann for a deeply nourishing 60-minute guided sound healing meditation, that will guide you to a serene nature journey that will melt away tension and stress. Using a variety of ancient instruments, including Tibetan singing bowls, gong, ocean drum, and other instruments. I will create a soundscape that calms the mind, soothes the body, and uplifts the spirit.

Paper Shadow Box Workshop

Class Description:
In this hands‑on craft class, students will create a layered Fall or Halloween‑themed paper shadow box using their choice of design. Participants will learn how the Cricut machine cuts each layer, how to assemble and elevate the paper to create a dimensional “pop” effect, and how to install the finished piece into a shadow box frame. This is a beginner‑friendly project that offers both creativity and step‑by‑step guidance, and everyone will leave with a completed seasonal décor piece ready to display.

Adult 8-Hour Safe Driving Course

This course meets the Connecticut DMV requirements for adults, 18 and older, who wish to apply for a Connecticut motor vehicle operator’s license and who do not hold a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued by any other state, or by any territory or possession of the United States.
Attendance on both days is required for a certificate of completion.

Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly crochet class where you’ll learn the basics of crochet and create your very own coffee cozy!
Class 1 — Learn the Basics
In the first class, you’ll learn the basic crochet stitches and techniques you’ll need, including:
Chain stitch
Single crochet
How to hold and use your crochet hook
The basic materials and supplies you’ll need
Everything is included! You’ll receive a crochet hook, yarn in your choice of color, a cup, and complete directions.
Class 2 — Create Your Coffee Cozy
In the second class, you’ll take the techniques you learned in Class 1 and put them into practice by creating your very own coffee cozy!
Just bring your creativity and we’ll provide everything else!

Learn about eligibility, how and when to enroll, when you can make changes, and the insurance options available to you. Review and compare what services are covered/not covered under Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. Detail the costs associated with medical, hospital and drug coverage. Explore and evaluate Original Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance, High-Deductible Medicare Supplement Insurance, Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans. This program will simplify the choices you need to make, help you make more well-informed decisions and explain what Medicare means for you! This is an educational event.
