Bristol Adult Education

Bristol Public Schools offers a complete driver education course, including 30 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours behind-the-wheel. This class is for Bristol high school students, ages 16-17. Students must be age 16 by April 2, and residents of Bristol to participate.

Any additional costs that may be associated with obtaining a CT DMV learner’s permit or driver’s license are the responsibility of the family/student. It is also the responsibility of the family/student to provide a vehicle for use during the DMV license road test. Bristol Public Schools does not provide any service or vehicles for testing at the DMV.

April 2 - The first class is "Parent's Night" 6-8 PM in Room 139. A parent/legal guardian and student must attend this first class together.

April 3, 9, 10, 23, 24, 30

May 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28

 Cancellations & Refunds: 

● If you cancel a registration before the start of a session, a 10% processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

● If you cancel a registration after the session begins, a 10% processing fee is deducted from a prorated refund for unused hours.
